6'3" and it happens to me. I tend to keep my seat much closer to the steering wheel than most men my height. The half million miles that I spent in Honda Civics makes me prefer to be somewhat cramped. I was too embarrassed to ask about the problem on the board.

6'2" here but I have the seat relatively close compared to most people my height. Similar to jimbopa, I used to have a Mini Cooper and got used to having the steering wheel closer.

How do we get this? I imagine the vehicle is capable of such functionality but am curious if this is an iDrive thing (I'd guess not?) or needs to be programmed at the stealer?

Just FYI, there is nothing inside the switch that could even possibly cause it to move to a position other than where it was set (no motor, solenoid, etc.). The knee issue was discovered shortly after SOP when it was noticed that paint on the knob was being knocked off.

Haha. I suppose you should know being that you live in the town where they are made.

So far in the 1150 miles that I have put on mine since picking her up that is the only thing I don't like.

My seat is already pretty far back. I think my problem is that I like to start it from outside the vehicle, so i reach in with my leg to depress the brake and push the button.

Actually, I'm a little closer to it than that... I work in Plant 10.

Nice! I toured one of the plants (closest to the Zentrum) when I picked up my 35d. Mind boggling how nice the factory was.

Thanks for noticing. We have a great deal of pride in our plant.
