just wanted to give you guys an update on the situation!
The car is still with the BMW dealership. They did verify that the DVD are fine and work in another vehicle. They were trying twice to do the software update, but it got stuck around 80%. Since the car was several times jump started by the previous owner, they believe that a module got damaged or lost its address or ...
Additionally, they want to exchange the TCU (Telematics Control Unit) which shall arrive today ...
Well, in the mean time, I enjoy driving a brand new 3 series convertible with shift up & down paddles on the steering wheel ...
