e70 steering wheel switch cover peeling

Thanks everyone for the replies and suggestions. I am learning that these plastic covers are NOT available without the electronic switches.

The only question that remains now is, is the OE replacement part truly improved, as some claim, ie no more peeling, or would a 3M DiNoc carbon fiber redo make more sense ... Certainly the CF solution is simple and much less expensive, especially the matt black color version.
