Alcantara Performance Sports Steering Wheel

Hi there -

does anybody have the BMW Performance Sportlenkrad II, part number 32 30 2 166 619 ?

Can I get it in the US? Does it work with a 2008 X5 4.8i?

The image provided is out of the German Sports Performance catalog for the X5/X6 ...

Thanks guys!

Wow that looks very cool.

Back in my E30 M3 days, we used to order "German-only" parts from various vendors. I suggest calling your dealer to see if they will special order it for you. You could also try some of the tuners like Turner Motorsport or BimmerWorld.

Where did you find that catalog?

I'm checking on my cost and availability right now - shouldn't be a problem to order it in.

It looks cool until it starts to wear. Then it starts to look like crap. If, that is, its like the one that is in the competition package M3. Google that and see what they look like when they wear. Mine is still good, but I worry what it will look like after 10k miles. BMW was offering a free wheel change if you were under warranty and pressed the issue at the dealership. I wouldn't buy one for what they probably want for it, but yeah, it looks cool for a little while.
