My Delima on where to transition from the silver bumper to the black wheel arches was solved yesterday when my rear mud flaps arrived. I'm going to paint the entire bumper except for the bezels around the exhaust tips. The transition at the wheel arches and bumper are going to be covered by the mud flaps. let me know how it goes. I hate the black bumper too. I got space gray.

Get an Aero kit and you will be set! It looks great and unique as not many 09s have these kits.

The alternative is to get a re-manufactured bumper for $300, good used rear lower lip for about $100, or new for $200 from ebmwparts.com, paint and labor about $700.
