Anyways, hope you are enjoying your car as much as I am!
I have also dealt with Bellevue dealership, and while a bit nicer, they weren't willing to come down on price much. I think it's due to a large portion of their clients being Microsoft employees, who can afford not to haggle much.
They did mention that floor mats were extra.

Went with an Oregon dealership (Carrera BMW), where price was low, and floor mats free (gave me a choice of rubber vs. regular).

P.S. Thanks, I am enjoying my 35d very much.

congrats! Also love the 336s more and more now.

you know the last few days I've not driven any highway (pretty normal for me). Idrive says I'm at 11.8mpg with my 3.0. I can only imagine if I were driving a 50i the same way. It would probably be under 10mpg.

The 5.0 has the power to outrun traffic without trying and I can get 17 - 18 mpg average and 20 highway.

Yeah, I was curious what the real MPG was going to be for the 5.0i with Dinan tune and am pleasantly surprised that for my normal commute, which means taking back roads and some stop/go, I've been getting ~21 according to iDrive. Pretty amazing given the performance of the car.

I've been frequently driving past a business that has an X5 in the same color/wheel combination out front. Really looks good. I'd love the paddle shifter on my diesel. It'd make it easier pulling the boat in the Adirondacks.

Very nice. Love the wheels. I have been seeing so many 50i X5s with the ugly small wheels lately.. I dont get it!!

Congrats! Your MSRP is close to 80k. Did you get good discount?

Yep, got a good price not too far above invoice. Could have done a bit better if I were willing to go to a dealer (a lot) further away, but am happy with where I landed. Definitely didn't pay MSRP
