new x5 5.0!
Just picked up my Sapphire Black 5.0 x5 with oyster interior! Took a good month for it to come into my hands from the day it started on the production line. The car looks sweet, accelerates smoothly, and everything is a lot better. (came from a 09 x5 4.8, and from there a 06 x5 4.4). I'll post some pictures soon. I was wondering how bad the gas is on this car. LOL. & the only thing I'm disappointed in is the premium sound package, it sounded a lot better in the old x5.

Congrats! You are definitely a fan of the X5 SAV platform. Nice color combo!

I don't have an E70 but I'd guess that your gas mileage will depend mostly on your right foot.

The MPG should improve over the 4.8i unless you have a heavy foot on the throttle. I can get 21 MPG highway, and seldom worse than 16-17 in the worst city driving.
