Auto tilt mirror problem

Hi, why does my passenger side mirror auto tilt at times but at times it does not auto tilt?

Any help here?

Do you mean when you put on reverse? If that's the case, read the manual again.

If you are saying that sometimes in reverse it tilts and other times in reverse it does not tilt, then my situation was a "low voltage" fault. My electronics would function sometimes, other times not so much including the auto tilt when reversing feature.

That's a different issue then. I had the ghost tilting problem on my 335, but I guess it was a totally different matter.
Hope somebody can help you out.

stupid question... did you chk the driver/passenger mirror settings?

the button on the driver panel that controls the mirrors also controls the reverse tilt.

if you move the button to the right to control the passenger mirror and leave it in that position, it will tilt in reverse... it will not if you move it back.

keep this in mind next time you test it..

if that works and you still have problems then it's off to the dealer...
