Winter Mode: 20s replaced with 19s + spacers

Finally snowing in NJ. Here are some pictures of 19" wheels with H&R 25mm spacers in the rear to cover those extended fender flares. I installed spacers and wheels myself. Ride is smooth, no pulling or vibration so far.

drove around great in the snow in my all-season 20s today - sacrificing the looks sucks. But not bad... maybe slightly wider than 25mm are needed? I'm just picky like that though.

rh71 - Are you running 10 front and 11 rear with all seasons? I have 212 19's with all season now. Thinking of selling them on the forum as they have brand new tires as i just picked up the X5 wednesday and replacing them with staggered 214's.

those are 25s?? I thought they would stick out more... kinda looks stock with those pics...

I am thinking about spacers for the m-sport 333m 20s when i get them and thought 25mm was too much..

Yes, they are 25mm and they will be too much for you 20" 333M wheels.
These 19" wheels are i think 9" wide and have 255mm tire as oppose to 315mm that will come with you 20x11 wheel.

Yeah i wasn't sure and didn't want wheels to stick out too much. I think 30mm should be the max. Yeah sacrificing looks sucks but these wheels will only stay for 3 months and then it will be back to this:

I have a 2012 Sport as well, was thinking about just replacing my factory dunlops (which after 10K miles are already thinning down and are TERRIBLE in the snow) with Michelelin Latitude Tour HPs, on my Y-spoke 20" rims. Anyone else do this/recommend?

Yes they're 10"/11" with Toyo Proxes STII all-seasons. Works great. I also upgraded from the 212 19" Michelins. Are the 19s still Michelins these days? Any idea how much you'll sell for - just curious.

BTW, welcome to the board.

For winter mode that looks pretty good! You could almost toss a larger spacers on there.

Are there any recommended size spacers for the 333m rim?

And hk, what size wheels and/or spacers are in post #6? (yours)

Thanks!
