i recently purchased an 08/07 production E70 with N62B48 powerplant. a couple of days ago the EML lit up so took car to the dealer to diagnose and ascertain the cause of the problem. was told i had a bad solenoid. replace it and took car away only for the EML to lit up again! dealer insist i change all 4 engine solenoids. i am also currently getting 6mpg combined, a rough idling and terrible transmission shifts, any suggestions on procedures to follow to kill the EML, improve fuel economy and transmission drama would be appreciated please. |

I know this is frustrating, but how can we possibly provide any real guidance based on that?
We need to know what codes the dealer got when he cleared the EML the first time, the part number he replaced, the codes from the second time, etc, etc, What "4 engine solenoids" is he saying need replacement? |
