^^No, the wires dont matter.

The cleaner is made to be flushed into the housing and dissolve and wash out contaminants on the actual thin film sensor.

Really? Wow talk about learning something new everyday!

Then I should try to spray inside the white casing if I wanted to use the cleaner. It won't be easy though it's at a 90 degree angle.

BTW, when I said the wet tissue came in contact with the MAF sensor, I meant it touched the wires. So I guess it's all fine, no need to worry about cleaning. Thanks everyone.

It doesn't appear that you are listening to what is being said here... If you do much DYI work on your rig then you wouldn't care about that little bit of brown on the white plastic. Look at the rest of that pristine white plastic...it looks brand new! Dirty fingers probably made the stain and it doesn't necessarily come of easily...or at all sometimes.

Are you planning on putting the MAF on show? If it works, it is good to go. I would move on to something else...

Jeep, meet autoque... to say he is a bit obsessive is an understatement.

Lets put it this way, he found a comb-like product that was designed to straighten the fine aluminum fins on a radiator- and wanted to get it to ensure all his fins were lined up. (not sure he ever bought it...)

But hey, gotta ask questions to learn, right?

^ bought it and straightened the severely bent ones. They are on eBay if anyone's looking for one.

I can't believe you remember it. Even I don't remember posting about the aluminum fins on the xoutpost. Kind of flattered someone's so obsessed with me. You know what, I'm actually starting to enjoy the attention! I think I may know how you feel, Ard.

Gotta say though, you've been more helpful to people lately than hell-full. I don't know what kind of pill you started taking but it's nice to see you becoming a positive member of the nice, friendly community.

HAHAHA.

Something like that you remember... and indeed it might have been the other forum. The lines are so blurry.

Thorazine ... with a Prozac chaser. But don't worry a noob will set me off and the old ard will be out.
