I think those are standard
Can't remember seeing a X5 without them, surely not one made after 2003.

Nope, they are not standard. My 08 3,0 doesn't have it.

You don't have a push button next to your mirror controls? I don't see any option on bmwusa for "folding mirrors" just "power mirrors standard".

Yup,...that button (the one close to the door panel) is missing. No folding mirrors. They have the curb view and all power, just no folding.

I think they are standard on the 4.8i but part of the Premium Package on the 3.0.

That may be the case, but that pic was on a 3.0. Curious why BMW doesn't mention this on their site

Looks like I have a "poorman's" X5!

It has leather, iPod connection, panoramic sunroof, satelite radio, mirror with compas and not much else.

Power side mirrors appear to be a premium package option in 3.0 and 4.8, according to the brochure:

'Premium package includes...Automatic-dimming rear-view mirror with digital-readout compass and automatic-dimming, power-folding side-view mirrors'.

Someone in their Marketing group needs to stop with the hyphens
