Question Trunk Roundel Removal e70

Hey X'ers...

I'm wanting to replace my trunk roundel with a carbon fiber one I just purchased on eBay...just the roundel, not the entire chrome housing. I've searched this forum and there seems to be differing explanations; some say it's glued, some say it's one entire piece with the housing, some say it just pops right off with the pins...

Does anyone have any pics for demonstration? I've seen a few YouTube videos but they are all for the hood roundel...none for the trunk! I don't want to take a chance and break it off or end up having to take it to a body shop/dealer with my tail between my legs!

Cheers!
