I'm getting a ///M50d after summer Can't wait, feedback is also appreciated I'm also getting Alpine white, but with the Black Nappa & Alcantara ///M trim + leather dashboard. Full spec of course, - Seat ventilation (not possible with the Alcantara apparently) and rear seat entertainment, as I feel it is the worst one out there! Only one, 90's-looking grey box with a pixelated screen in the middle, not even one each like in other BMWs!

The choice was between this or the X5///M, but me X5s fuel economy is bad enough! So I'm pretty much set on the ///M50d

Hi all,

My M50d arrives by ship on the 9th June, and allowing 14 days for dock clearence, pre-delivery, coloured caliphers, ceramis pads, 5% camber offset bushes installation, should get it first week of July!

My M50d is going thru pre-delevery at the moment, apparently the new M50d has the audio system connected to the engine management system so to send the exhaust note thru the speakers, the same as the new M5 (V8) sedan does?

^ nice! But I consider that a fake exhaust note must admit it sound very good in the ///M5 though...

It will be interesting to see how it sounds. I do know that the rear muffler have dual pipes into the muffler where the normal 35d & 40d have single inlets, so it must have some sort of exhaust note above the normal X5 diesels.
