E70 LCI CORONA LED on pre-LCI retrofit?

There is a lot about LED's replacement retrofits in this forum but nothing about changing the lights from pre-LCI to the new ones.
Did anyone changed there headlights to the new ones? I know it was done in europe but I am not sure if they are the same.

Interesting question. I was thinking (dreading) what it would cost me to update my 2011 with the 2012 factory headlights.

I'm thinking for the severe $$$$ it would cost that I'd be better off sticking with my LUX V3's.

blue dragon will become famous soon enough
I was looking at some LCI headlights on ebay, but they were $1099 each. I'm not spending 2Gs's just for some fancy corona rings

Late 2011 models have LED coronas.

The one one eBay for $1099 are not adaptive headlights. Only HID. The seller told me it is plug and play and only needs 10 minutes coding? Could anyone confirm?
