X5 Coding Help - Missing CAPPL

Hi folks... I need your help. I'm trying to remove the idrive disclaimer but I don't see CAPPL as an option. Do I need to update my daten files? I have a 2007 x5. Reading around other forums some say it might be in mask but i can't read mask (no answer from ecu).

I've already successfully coded digital speedo, double blink hazard, and a few others but no luck on the CAPPL idrive disclaimer. Help please.. Thanks in advance.

Model: 2007 x5 3.0si with idrive but no navigation.
Daten: v41

If not getting response from ecu then most likely will need updated files. Make sure you update the ecu folder in edibias as well. The other possibility is you will need to update the edibias programme itself. Lastly it may be that you do not have cappl as your car does not have navigation.

Can anyone shed some light on which daten files are compatible with which chassis? I used v41 for most of coding (minus cappl/cic for idrive disclaimer). Reading on this forum i hear v45 daten won't work on older cars. So maybe that means I need v44? Is there a cheatsheet with this info?

Thanks...

The guy in the bronx who codes for free onebadmofo in other 3 series forums tried for an hour to remove my idrive warning. At the end he couldnt. And he has coded 1000 of cars. I suggest leave it alone. If you are succesful let us know.

you need to trace down the error from NCSEXPER/BIN/Error.log to see if you might sometimes need older daten files from V39 or V40 to read your CAPPL module. Not always the most updated daten files will work since your is a 2007 X5

Update

Attempted Solutions
- Tried reading MASK (only module available but I can't read. Getting COAPI:202O / IFH-0009 error)
- Installed v45 daten
- Installed v40 daten
- None worked so back to v41
- Also tried after pressing F6, the saving the initial TRC file to MAN and tweaking LEGAL_DISCL, saving, process car, code car but received ECU interruption message.

Is your ignition on when you are attempting to read this? By that I mean, are your dash lights on like a christmas tree? Iginition needs to be on.
