I hope none of it works while in motion. I don't want some a55hole, who's interested in what their college friend of 10 years ago is doing at the zoo with their 5 yr old, to plow head on into my daughter or son. Because it was soooo f'ing important to "like" the attached picture. I see it every day to and from the office, and it pi55es me off.
Rant over, and sorry for the high jack.
People need twitter & Facebook to tell the whole world that they are taking a dump. I hope 8ball agrees this time.

To all that have tvs and video game systems in the back for their kid, are you serious as a parent?! As if they don't already get enough tv and video games at home, they need to do that in the car too? If you rather have electronic gadgets raising your kids, then please, you really should not have any kids.
You clearly have no idea on what you're talking about, but keep writing, it's fun to watch people self destruct on here!

If you feel that you have more of a clue than I do, then please elaborate as I am waiting for your enlightenment, as do others.

LOL! Why would one defecate their vehicle? Maybe if they were pissed at the SA and they were about to drop it off for service.

Watching movies is simply a distraction for children during long rides to keep them occupied. My 4 and 2 1/2 year old are great kids however even the best of them have their moments and when they do a simple Disney movie "usually" does the trick.

So, once they get older perhaps a video game might be in the cards, who knows. Until they can keep their own attention without driving my wife and I nuts, on goes the TV's!

You've been enlightened...

My beef is the OP's mod for the NAV, and thus the front seat fans, passenger and driver...I don't care what your, or anyone's kids are doing in the back seat.

Agreed..

Try driving 1,200 miles at a shot with NO entertainment for even 8 year olds...I'd have them read but cleaning up the puke would slow me down...the "I spy" game works for a while, but it is nice to listen to my music up front and see them with headphones on being nice and quiet in the back....

When there's something to see we slow down and get out and look, but for hours on end with nothing on the 95 corridor worth seeing...

Says the guy reading a blog on the internet on a computer or smartphone device.
I don't, "raise" my kids in the back seat of my vehicle. I drive, they remain occupied so that I may concern myself with the task at hand.
So, yes I am serious as a parent allowing my kid to be entertained when I cannot otherwise occupy them. And if you think your children will go through this world successfully without those electronic gadgets, then you sir need to rethink for yourself. Be careful when casting the first stone.

Combox But No 6NR

I ordered the BMW Apps in my 2012 X5 35d prod 11/2011, but upon delivery found the option was no there. It does have the Combox though. Are you saying you can retro the BMW Apps? If so, is it just a software retro, or is there additional or a change in hardware required?
