ordering question

hello my fellow members
i have a question about ordering and car specs
i live in kuwait and ordered my previous car from our dealer ,on the door inside it has the serial number of the car and says it is made in the US( btw the car is a 2010 X5) but when i ordered it the sheet said that it is gulf specifications. does that mean i can order a car from the US and specify that it is Gulf specifications( which involves the map in the nav system and some other stuff) because the price difference from my country the US build your own is almost 30K ( for a BMW 650). any help would be appreciated .

BMW dealers are set up to sell in their own territories. They buy cars from regional BMW sales companies (BMW NA for the US, BMW Canada for Canada, etc). Whereas a dealer might like an incremental sale, the marketing company has an exclusive. As a result, you need to deal with your local dealer, unless you have a US military channel to purchase through, or something like that.
