Advice on E70 purchase consideration

Thanks guys. I agree with Kzang's comment on early production years. I think if I do look for an E70, it'll have to be 2009 or later.

Just curious as to the level of issues you guys are seeing on the early E70 productions.

2008 and 2009 are virtually same. They didn't even upgrade the software, which is done on 2010s (a common issue is high voltage on that software along with many other minor fixes). If there's a huge money difference between the two, then 2008 would be same as 2009, if not, definitely go for 2009 (will buy you an extra year of factory warranty, but if you could justify the extra $$, go for 2010, you'd get a couple of years factory warranty (more than enough to know your car and its problems), plus two additional years of CPO if buying from bmw dealer.
