Rear Seat Lock

I have an 07 with the 3rd row seat option.
So my girlfriend borrows it to take 5 eight year olds to a birthday party and the X comes back broken.
The Rear Seat Not Locked error message is on the iScreen and the red icon is on he dash, along win the seatbelt light.
I have tried latching and unlatching with every lever and still no luck.
The seats are definitely in the locked position, or so they seem. And I doesn't matter if I fold them flat either.
Any ideas? Or clues where the sensor is?
Thanks all.

Check the 2nd row, probably one side is not completely locked in place.

Ah yes, I have had this happen before. Make sure there is not kid debris in the floor where the seats lock. (happened to me) Make sure your third row floor mats are in properly, if they shift too close to the floor lock, it can prevent the seats from fully locking. Have you slid the second row back and forth and tried? I have had to stagger the seats and do it a couple of times.... If all else fails, it could be a sensor which could have been disconnected due to a busy bunch of kids in the back of the X. last but not least..... Hello dealer.

Just wanted to close up this thread, you all were right. There was a piece of candy under the latch that kept it from locking tight.
Thanks.
