Changing the tires size

I was looking to change the tires on my 2008 X5 (this will be my 5th set!) and wondered if I could purchase Yokohamas in 265-60-18 size, instead of the stock 255-55-18 size.
The 265s have also a deeper design, which will improve the performance of the truck on mud.
But, it would make the truck slower I think.
Have you guys ever tried this?
What do you think?

Problem solved: it doesn´t fit.
