OEM BMW E70 X5 'X5' Embroidered Luggage Compartment Mat

I searched and read other threads but couldn't find the answer.

I don't have 3rd row seats and I'm interested in the "OEM BMW E70 X5 'X5' Embroidered Luggage Compartment Mat" (Part # 82110417984).

The photo of the mat looks like it was taken from an E53. I can't find one for the E70.

I want make sure it doesn't cover the optional "lashing rails with lashing eyes":

Thanks for the quick response. I guess I'll have to measure the distance between the lashing rails to see if it fits in-between them. Also, your image shows "X6".

It's a 5, not a 6. The lighting in our photo room causes reflections and it's a touch hard to tell.

If you look closer you will see that the logo actually says X5 rather than X6

I have one in my E70. Good incase something "happens" back there - dogs, groceries, etc. just pull it and wash it.

OK, I measured the distance between the two lashing rails. It's 38.0 inches exactly. Is the embroidered mat the same width? Or wider?

Yeah, I have one in my M3. A must-have. I just take it out and use my home upright vacuum cleaner on it every now and then.

Bump. Just want to know if someone can confirm the actual width before I purchase. Thanks.

I have the hard plastic luggage mat and it has saved my trunk carpeting more than I can say. Spills, rough edges on items, just tossing & pulling things around and never worrying about it. Of course the downside is never seeing the nicer carpeting but the utility far outweighs it. I'm sure sponsors here have it, but just to give an idea, it looks like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Fitted-Lugga...0e45e1&vxp=mtr

I lucked out and a dealer made a mistake advertising for an E53, so owning up to it he still gave me the E70 one for only $55.

True but that would cover the rail lashings and I use those as tie-downs to prevent cargo from sliding around. I prefer carpeting, but I do keep a blue plastic tarp tucked under the floor panel should I ever need to carry something dirty like plants, lumber, etc. I also like the ability to easily lift the floor panel. I could see the mat getting in the way since it conforms and covers the entire rear floor plus the "baseboard" area.
