Non-staggered Style 336 rims?
Hi there,
I have a 2012 X5 35i with Style 210 rims. I am thinking of changing to Style 336s but am worried that the staggered setup might be bad for the xDrive system. Will the front style 336s fit in the rear wheels (so all 4 wheels are identical)? I'm also going to move from RFTs to non-RFTs, specifically the Pirelli Scorpion Verde, any opinions? Thank you in advance for any responses

You shouldn't worry about the xDrive having any issues with the staggered set up. From the factory BMW puts 10X20 ET40 on the front and 11x20 ET37 rear Style 336s on the E70. Four fronts would work but you're going to have very sunken in rear wheels which will not be very aesthetically pleasing.
Personally I'd run the staggered set then use spacers to push them out a little more. HERE is a link to a custom cart with the staggered 336s dropped into it.

Oh, so if I use four fronts, the rear wheels would actually be more "in" than the front wheels?? I don't have the fender flares and I thought if I used four fronts, the rear wheels would just not stick out?

If you run four fronts the rear wheels will be more sunken in that if you ran the staggered set up.
The flares extended on both the front and rear wheel openings making both wider.

No problem, do you have oem wheels on your X now? If so I can try to give you an idea of where the 366s would sit on your X
