Can/Should I take advantage of this early lease pull out offer?

The lease on my 2010 X5d expires on November 11 of this year. I just received mailing from BMW offering to pay the last 2 payments on my lease. So, I could technically get out of my lease on September 11. Problem is, this offer is only valid till July 2nd.

So, can I order an X5d (at this point it would still be a 2012, right?) by July 2nd and NOT get possession of it until after September 11 so that I don't have to be carrying 2 leases simultaneously for one or even 2 months?

it usually depends on when your dealer has a production allocation/build slot.

I ordered my X5 back in early April, for a wk 20 (May) build slot to take delivery 6/15, the car was built "early" and at my dealer before the end of May

So you would need to find a dealer with an allocation sometime in August ...

The 2012 X5d production ends in July. Would any dealer still have allocations for a delivery in August?
