TMPS Please help
I just purchased 227M 20 inch wheels and I am confused about tpms. If they have TPMS already installed in them will my car recognize them or will I have problems? I am planing to sell my original wheels with tires but should I remove my original tpms and install them in the 20 inch just in case if they come without tpms... Someone please help. I Need the answer ASAP Thanks.

BMW changed the TPMS some time in the 2011 model year so there are two types of them. Whether the ones on the new wheels you have will work depends upon which type they are.

10/10
I believe October 2010 or 10/10 (build date) was the start of the new TPMS units. So for your vehicle, you'll need TPMS units that are pre-10/10.
