Weird noise from rear door lock...

So when I lock the doors on my 2013 X5 the rear passenger side door lock makes a "quick fire" door locking sound as if the door has not locked or the locking mechanism is not engaging ... its the only one that makes this noise, all the other doors simply "lock" once ...

anyone else experienced this?

perhaps this is a sound of fuel door being locked? is the door actually locked in the end?

nope its clearly from the door lock, and yes it appears to be locked
