20" OEM Wheels with Dunlop $1500, good price?

I found a local seller with 20" OEM Wheels with tires. Tires are DUNLOP RUNFLAT Z Rated Tires with about 12k miles.

Front: 275/40 - 20
Rear: 315/35 - 20

For $1500, is this a good deal? How are these tires? I have bridgestone r un flats, and I don't like it.

If OEM, straight/no curb rash and with TPMS, I'd say price is ok, although most likely tires don't have much left and will require replacement soon anyway.

Having said that, 214s are soooo played out... imho, of course.

What is remaining thread depth? For 12K miles, you will get another 3-7K out of them, at most - depending on where/how they were driven. So think whether or not you want to spend $1500 just on the rims, because that is what you are essentially buying!

I love mine and paid the same price but also had to pay shipping. My logic was I would try them with the rubber that came on them so I could decide if I wanted to keep them or not. If not, I could probably get my $ back. In the end I am very happy with them and will be putting on new tires soon. Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1343875678.998791.jpg

Agree with Alexmish. Have had both Dunlops and Stones. Neither went past 15,000 miles and both rode hard and noisey. I converted to non run-flats this time around and bought a spare from BMW.

Depending on the tread left you are basically paying for the wheels for the most part. Though I have 20K miles on my 20" Dunlops with about 4-5K miles left on them.

as someone else said, you're essentially buying the rims at that price since the summer rubber has little life left - though I've seen some people mention up to 20k mi which isn't that bad. I would do it for OEM 214s as long as they're in good condition. Hard to believe someone can do 12k miles on them without marking them up... or maybe they had it refinished.

I have roughly 20K on my 214's, and no scratches at all... and I drive a lot NJ->NYC (3-4 times a week) through all those constructions, parking, etc..

where do you go for your service? The valet or tech at a dealer marked mine up at least twice over the years - but at least it's on the same one that's already dinged up.

Also the guy who did my rebalance used some tool to remove the center cap and that also made markings on it.

Just out of curiosity from someone who would like to get 20"s, why are they only lasting 15K-20K?

I've got the factory 19"s with the 255/50/19 RFT's and about 16K on them and they are still at 6/32.

Debating if I want to go through the winter with them or replace them. Lease is up in July 2013 and I'm looking to get the new 2014 model.
