Any current ideas on extended coverage?

Hi All,

Searched the forum and doesnt seem to be much current info on extended warranty coverage pricing. I have been emailing dealers to get pricing on 84/100 Platinum extended coverage, and have been quoted $5430, and $5930... with about 10 other emails still not answered. Am I wrong in thinking that there is room to negotiate on these warranties? These dealers have told me the prices are "set".

have received a few replies from dealers and most are willing to negotiate. Heard from one dealer that $4650 is their cost on the 84month/100k platinum package. not sure if I believe that or not.

I hope these numbers will help other members get a better price on extended coverage for our X5's
