I have driven through sand like that on my 35d without problems. That guy would haved gotten stuck there in a tank. It takes skills

Driver must have unloaded his mtn bike, coolers, gear and surfboard already...like the ads show.

Should put that pic up on the B'fest X1 board: they are lined up to buy the X1 there, mostly 'sight unseen' and w/out a test drive.

You have got to deflate those tires before hitting that soupy stuff! Have a small compressor and you are good to go when done wheeling.
