North Jersey 2012 35d

I've been talking to a few dealerships in northern NJ and most won't budge off of msrp except the eco credit. On top of the they add doc fee, cap fee, snob fee, etc.

Anyone know a dealership in north jersey that will sell at or near invoice on a 2012 35d?

Thanks in advance

Why not click on BMWNA site, find all dealers in your area/willing to travel to for buying, hit their email, and send in your car need(s) to the SalesMgr, Internet Mgr, et al?

I lived in NJ & NY for 26 years: it isn't that big of an area.

Rather than wait for an anecdotal story on 'try this dealer', spend 15 mins copping the email addy, and send a half dozen/dozen dlrs your request.

Thanks for your responses.

I really didn't know that I would be able to agree to terms of a sale through email. Based on my limited experience, when I contact a dealer via email, their response is to come to the dealership, waste time bsing and present me with msrp and tell me what a great deal I'm getting.

Well of course. So dont go to the dealership.

BUT DO reach out and identify a SPECIFIC TYPE OF SALESPERSON. You do not want a front line sales puke...why?

Because he is more than willing to burn everyone he talks to with MSRP...he will do that 50 times a week, 200 times a month- and if he gets a few to close, he has a good month.

As mentioned above, you want a salesperson that is willing to make his money in smaller bites.

I would reach out via phone and TALK to the salesman once you've established he is willing to be sensible. By telegraphing that you know the market, the price, and know precisely what you will pay, he will either cut bait, or agree to proceed.

Ive negotiated all my car purchases in the last 15 or so years over the phone.

Paul Miller and Park Avenue will both do $500 over invoice. Where have you been calling? When I was shopping for my diesel, it was easy to find that price. I just got eco, olympic, and $500 over invoice from a NY dealer too. ez pz.

Those were the two places I went to! Damn it!

I must have been wearing my sucker mask around again!

Do you know if they'll do that price before the $4500 eco-credit?

Yes. $500 over invoice for me, regardless of options etc., then subtract eco and olympic test drive (if you did the test drive and have a coupon code). Should be around $10-11k off of msrp. Keep in mind this is my 4th X5, not all bought at same dealers, but if you go in with an attitude of knowing what you're doing, knowing options, knowing prices, you'll probably get $500 over invoice. Try the Park Ave internet department, do it all over the phone. Don't screw with them though, give them the comfort level that you're going to buy the car (assuming you are) if they give $500 over and aren't just a tire kicker.

I went to Bloomfield BMW, 4500 Eco credit 1500 BMW loyalty that 6 grand right their. I paid 500 Over invoice also! I believe sticker was 64900 not sure don't have paper work here. Go there and ask for Jack Gomez! Paul Miller was 1k away from what I wanted to pay, so I went to Bloomfield, told them exactly what I wanted, told them I would buy the car on the spot. Alpine white x5d cinnamon leather, premium package, cold weather, premium sound,Comfort access and BMW apps.

OP, very simple, just email each and every local dealer's internet dept, TELL and DONT ASK them that you are ready to sign the papers if they can do $500 above invoice.
