Replacing E70 jack mount points
Does anyone know how to replace the plastic jack mounting points? I don't prefer to stick in a screw driver between the plastic part and metal body part and damage the paintwork. Anyone's got a smarter way of replacing these? Hi have alredy purchased the replacement parts ($22) FYI, one of the plastic mounting points seems to have been damaged after they've used a wrong jack in a tire shop. |

I fit's like most other BMWs, there is a pin in the center of the square that needs to be pried out with a thin screwdriver. Once the pin is out you just pull or pry the mount out.
