Help Needed: I need a new wheel!

Wife crunched my rear 214 wheel today as she avoided a dog darting into the road. Any advice on a good place to find an OEM wheel? I know there are many on eBay, but I'm not sure what I'm getting from these sellers.

Thanks in advance!

Folks. "OEM" means many things these days.... OEM has become distorted to mean "Made by a manufacturer that once made a wheel for a car manufacturer". Dont think that an OEM wheel is the same as an OE wheel- made on the same mfg line as the OE BMW wheel.... might be, but all these companies lie, the ebay sellers lie, they are just moving units.

Within the space of one ebay search you can clearly see people calling OEM a "BMW OE Wheel", and others, at the same time, saying OEM is an equivalent copy.

IMO, buy an OE BMW wheel as a take off- private seller, or a dealer.

And that wife is prolly lying...tell her to cut out the Speed Racer act.

PS You want an OE wheel...not an OEM. BMW sells OE items, not OEM. OEM are items made by the OEM, but not BMW licensed/labeled/distributed... 'true' OEM is rare.. oil and air filters, spark plugs, belts, O2 sensors...eventually suspension bits. But wheels are a rather secretive process- actually due to the design copyrights, I am of the opinion that there IS no such thing as OEM- nobody can legally make a copy of an OE wheel...my belief.

PPS and before people say "well BMW parts are, in fact made by the OEM, right? So they are OEM too"...which makes OEM then a label with virtually no distinction.
