New spare key
today i went to buy an extra key since i have only one and he asked for $900! I just need the remote incase i lost the only key i have to start up my engine, is there a cheaper solution?

Ask him how much to just program if you bring a new one.
BTW, what frequency do you use there? It may be different from US; otherwise I'd just order it here. |

i paid like 279 at bmw Seattle and they are not cheap.

I would pay $300 but not $900 if someone can help... If the key got lost, i wont be able to use my car simply ...

My comfort access keys are like $350 from the dealer here, in NY. Non-CA keys are around $150, according to someone with a 2010 335i I work with who recently got a replacement.
