Tgunz,

Did you mean to include pics of your wheels? I would love to see them!

I think the 20s are adequate but leave too much wheel well. I'm also good with the ride on rfts though I won't be replacing them again. way too expensive, imo. if I buy new wheels they'll be 22s for the summer

To each his own. I think 22s look ridiculous - like a low rider Impala sitting on gigantic bling rims.

And, I despise the harshness of run flats. Run flats on 22s would make an X5 ride like a farm wagon.

Like, I said though, to each his own!

do you notice any improvements on the butt dyno due to lighter wheels

I am 8 lbs lighter per wheel (compared to the stock 19s) - I think I can feel the car being a little snappier. It is hard to tell because the overall handling is so much different. The 20s give the car so much more stability - I actually feel like I am closer to the ground - more "go kart" like. I didn't expect this much difference in the overall feel. Cornering is very quick and cemented in. And, I do think it feels more responsiveness to the accelerator. The change has been all good so far.

I lightened a 1999 M3 by 12 lbs per wheel once and the butt dyno was significant - at that time I only changed the wheel - not the wheel size or the tires, so I was able to tell just exactly what the wheel did and it was huge - this is not nearly that type of change.

Another 5 lbs per wheel lighter would have been very very nice but that would have meant forged - $$$

PS - I had thought about OEM Style 214 wheels but they are (about) 38.5 lbs per wheel compared to the Avant Garde's at 30 lbs per wheel.
