oem 315 tires on a 20x10 rim...would it work?
oem rear 315 tires on a 20x10 rim...would it work? I was thinking about getting a set of rims but front and back are 20x10. i still have my factory run-flats in storage, figure i'd mount them and not waste a set of tires.

This is NOT a recommended fitment. According to Tire Rack a 315/35/20 requires a MINIMUM 10.5" width wheel with a maximum width of 12.5".
At 10" you are below the MINIMUM. I wouldn't do it. Even if it is "possible" to do it, it is not correct.

I'm running it right now, and have been running it for 30k miles. Zero problems.

Yes they are. Ordered them on eBay... So far, so good. It was a bit above 1000 for the set of 4, staggered 20s

Well, I have to admit, that fitment looks perfect. I have heard the Sessantas are a tad narrower than other 315s. I was thinking about getting Sessanta 315s on 10" rims but had decided not to - your pictures have made me change my mind!

Those tires have a min rim spec of 10" for the 315/35-20. Quite a challenge to find tech data...Technical Data
I agree most other 315s would prolly not work... A |
