Two Stage Brake Light Socket Burned
First time I took it in to BMW under warrant. I argued, and lost, that this would only occur as a design flaw. (Looking back, I can't believe I let this go.) Now it has happened again and my independent mechanic tells me it is burned again. Anyone else?

This happened to both sides on my X. They were both covered under CPO Warranty.

Water leaks in rear hatch, possibly? I know it was an issue for early E70.
