This spring, while installing the 20" back, had to do a little touch up. Looks nice on my Black X5

Nice engine cover. Is that rust oleum's standard red caliper paint? I'm looking for a red that matches brembos.

Engine cover was done in the shop with high temperature paint. Not sure what brand. The calipers are red G2 caliper paint. They are a littler brighter than what they appear in the picture. Almost a perfect match.

Are those decals on the caliper or stenciled? If decaled, Did you have to clear coat over the decal to prevent peeling?

Vinyl decals, clear coated.

My opinion is that unless you have a BBK, don't paint your stock calipers.

Calipers are already undersized, why draw attention to them? |

+3. At most I painted my stock calipers silver so they just looked clean and were easier to keep that way with a gloss paint vs raw metal. IF you have upgraded calipers or a BBK and AW then maybe I'd do a blue or even a graphite/charcoal.
