LUX V4 Installed

After going over which LUX V3 color to get (5000k vs 6500k) they upgraded to V4, which are adjustable from 5000k - 12000k, so my problem was solved. So here are some pics:

Thats freaking awesome. Too bad I just installed a set of Mtec. I would love the ability to dial in the color temp to my liking. Is it a pain to change the color temp?

No, there are 4 dip switches on the power supply, just set them to the color temp that you want.

Can't really speak to that since I never had the v3's. According to LUX the v3's are now the second brightest LED upgrade that you can get, after the v4's. The v4's now use double the LED's that the v3 used so I am assuming that they are significantly brighter, but it could be to support the selectable color as well.

V4 for Sale

I have a new set of the V4 Lux for Sale if anyone is interested.

Here is the link to the sale on Ebay:
Lux H8 V4 BMW Angel Eyes Color Adjustable E90 E92 E93 E70 E71 E89 | eBay

Went back to my V3, as the color on the V4 is not consitent around the ring/AE. This is my opinion...

As has been stated, they use both white and blue LEDS, but they appear as alternating white and blue "stripes/bands" when viewing the AEs themselves, depending on which color temp you choose. Again, just my opinion...

I also have 2 new Caps for the backs of the HL where these are installed.
BMW #63127192573.

Message me if interested.

Thanks,
John

Can you comment as to the brightness comparisons between the two versions? How much brighter (if at all) are the V4s?
