DRL

I know on my X5 when I have the corona lights on, my tails are also on. I noticed that some do not. I see on the road that they have corona on but no tails. Is there a way to turn it off or on?

I have a 2012. Some of the ones I saw are wither 2011 or 2012. My friend has a 2012 and his tails don't light up. My 08 335i tails light up also.

probably has to do with the car's programming... check with somebody in your area who can use NCS expert to see if they can program your lights to your likening... a dealer may or may not do this, and if they do, they will charge you an arm and a leg...

Mine is late 2011 (with coronas) and tail lights stay on with front DRL. That's a programming change done for 2012s..

My tail lights stay on also. And it's a 2010.

2008 X5...

You have to code this function so the rears aren't on when the fronts are...
