LCI tail lights, are they really LEDs?

so I ordered a set of OEM LCI tail lights for X5, and I still see the upper and lower halogen bulbs. Looks like the turn signals are NOT LEDs like what you see here on the 3-series coupe.



Which part is actually LEDs? I wish the turn signals were LEDs for the E70.

No they aren't LED it's a halogen bulb in the tail light unit but the design of the tail lamps make the reflection appear to be LEDish.

I just find it strange that BMW didn't use LEDs for their flagship SAV. The LCI lights looks cool but I'm still disappointed they're not LEDs.
