2008 4.8i price check / may be selling

Thinking about selling my X5. Wondering what a reasonable starting point price would be.
2008, black on black, 52k miles, just serviced, tech, Nav, premium, sport, cold weather, rear climate, 214's, nappa, iPod dock, sat radio, heated front seats, dark bamboo trim, 11 months of CPO remaining.
Stock, except front side windows tinted and BMW performance grille.
Tires are 60%, paint is excellent, no dings. Interior is near perfect. Brakes and rotors are new within 5k.

$35K. I have almost exact same set-up except have less miles 45K with CPO, Extended Maintenance through 8/14 and tire warranty until 8/15.

I recently (last month) purchased my '08 loaded (except HUD) 4.8i X5 with 65k miles and extended BMW maintenance plan to 100k miles or 4/1/15 for $27k at Austin BMW dealer. IMHO, $35k is unrealistic.

I was considering $31k as a starting point, since there is CPO left.

Exploring the sale of my '08 4.8i as well ... dealer trade-in values hover around $22K to $23K (without any consideration to any of the options, such as Rear Entertainment System, 3rd seat, premium packages etc) and local asking prices are anywhere from mid-twenties to $30K. Very few that are higher. Don't know what the final selling prices are, but my guess is mid $20K's ... Any remaining CPO may add at most a few hundred dollars ...

Ok I thought you were talking retail pricing--for Private Party then, yes, I would say low $30K's.

Actually just called a dealer and I have the same specs. 52K with 11 months on CPO left.

Dealer said 23K and may be able to stretch to 24k.
