Sounds like they are trying to take you for a ride. Yeah, air bags leak at some point, but replace them when they fail. That could be a year, two, or three from now.
You are telling us you dont want to spend another 900$ on the vehicle, yet let them push you into replacing something that doesn't need to be replaced immediately.

All of the comments including the one about the Indy were before I read through the invoice.

I'm not planning on doing anything right now. As mentioned, it could be years before the bag actually fails. Not like if I'm driving and it breaks that I'm going to swerve off of the road into a ditch.

When it fails you should have plenty of notice. Mine was sitting down on one side when I went out for lunch one day. It pumped up fine and stayed fine until the replacement came.

She's dead Jim. Went to car to get sunglasses before taking kids sledding. As I open the passenger side door, I hear the air pump. Look back and it's lifting my passenger side rear. Was about a 4 inch life based on the separation from the icicle. Time to order a couple bags

It's a third row thing I believe.

The 07's have them without third row seats

I thought it was an option on all E70s...but if you get the 3rd row it is required/included. So you could add it to a car that didnt have 3rd row. My recollection...
