Bad catalytic converters, 80,000 warrranty will cover.

Just got my 2012 diesel back from dealer. CEL indicated a bad cat. Service advisor said it was the third one he'd seen. Turns out there may have been a bad lot from supplier. Pleased the warranty was there. Expensive parts.

Huge recalls in 2010/11 cars over this. NOX sensors, etc...reporgramming....

My 10 had the same CEL code, replaced the SCR cat, same issue returned..then they replaced sensors...then they replaced software. Then I lemoned it.

I dearly HOPE it is a bad lot. That would be a best case scenario, IMO

I got mine back after few days ago. Parts alone shows approx. $2700. I don't know how much labor would have cost, but I'm just glad everything was covered by the 8/80,000 warranty.
