Wise words, for sure. In 100,000kms and two years I really haven't spent that much time in the shop (which I dread!). I can't really complain. And my CPO warranty has been a huge asset.

Last time I had my X5 in the shop to replace the oil pan gasket, my mechanic found the rear diff leaking. I had the seals and fluid changed. Its a good idea to check yours every once in a while for leaks.
