quad tips?

I have an '11 x5 50i with m package. I want to change the exhaust and get quad tips put on. I found a remus exhaust with square tips. Bimmian sells different tips that will fit the outlet exhaust diameter and are quads. My local garage is telling me it can't be done without cutting the bumper while Bimmian says it will fit into my bumper as is...can anyone confirm one way or the other who is right?

Anyone else done this? Seems unlikely that it can't be done without chopping up the bumper.

That's the ones. The garage I was asking to do my exhaust swears they won't fit into the bumper, Bimmian insists they will.

Egis, great look! Very clean. Could you take a pic what the fit looks like behind the bumper? Do you have to cut the originals off or do these replace the existing tips only.

I really like the black quads, my e70 is met. black and i think that the black ones would look good.

when they state 89mm (~3.5in), is that the diameter? Not sure how that applies to the dual exhausts.

It says the dual tips are 84mm which about 3 3/8"
The singles are 98mm which is roughly 3 7/8"
