Strange issues, help!

Was getting roadworthy certificate as I am selling my 2008 3.0si.

Mechanic said I had faulty rear window washer jet. No water comes out at all, wiper blade still functions.

I decided to have a look and see if there was an obvious blockage or something.

I pulled back the trim inside the rear hatch at the top which houses the hoses but only by a crack, poked my finger underneath (don't ask me why) and found some wires but then decided to stop and put it back in.

It was around then that parking malfunction came up - brakes don't engage. Then all 3 of my remotes do not lock or unlock the car!

Help, does anyone know what is happening?

I'm hoping electrical gremlin for the latter 2 things. But first thing probably washer pump.
