Sold the 2011 xdrive35d

Sold the X5. Will still be lurking but thanks Xoutpost for all the years of great support, info and entertainment as part of the forums. The balloon payment (BMW Select financing) was nearing it's 3 year mark and so I sold the diesel and bought a 2007 Monaco Blue 328i sedan w/sport package and 52,000 miles.

Here's the last pic before the X went to a new home. I paid new $52K for it w/all the great diesel incentives on a 60K msrp and sold for $37K. Thoroughly enjoyed that diesel engine and would do it again in a heartbeat.

Really like the 328i and a great followup car.

Quite the contrast going into a first year E90 328...your X was nice!

I loved my X. I miss the solid feel on the road, high up seating and view out, the premium stereo and of course the bluetooth audio streaming...heck all I have in the 328 is the stoopid AUX input...and not many options unless I spend a ton of money to integrate BT audio or at least just the USB port so I can see and control the iPod playlists/song track.

My ex had a 2006 325 (similar to the 07) and I really liked that car for the years we were together and I was 'allowed' to drive it.

I had an 07 328...I liked it, but mine came with the premium pack. I still like your X better...LOL

This has premium and sport...but not sure why the damn thing doesn't have the USB/iPod integration option. It has the Logic 7 sound so why not the iPod stuff! 328 is paid for the X was gonna unload $31,000 out of my pocket so half that was easier to stomach.

Why'd you sell if you liked it so much? Not following the balloon comment

I had a 3 year BMW Select financing option - that is, small payments up front and a balloon in 3 years (which would have been this May) I could either pay that off, refinance it or sell the car.

If I had 31K burning a hole in my pocket I would have kept it.
