I don't really like it. Some small modifications such as raised lettering and making the sills a tad longer like BMW OEM would drastically improve it.

Thanks Perry and yes Art, sure they would really be the part if I could have done those you've mentioned but instead I added "BMW Individual" wording. I hope you find them a little better now, just taken photos on an M package F15, thank you for motivating me to get these parts going..
In terms of door sill protection, even a clear vinyl tape will do most of the job but when there is something solid like these in there, I feel our passengers will take some care when getting in and out and so is that curved design. And I focussed on to inscribe the X5 logo as precise as possible, to reach that oem feeling to some extent. Luckily they fit to the new X5 (F15) too as below.. ![]() ![]() ![]()
