X5 (E70) Door Sill Covers

Hope these will catch some positive attention, just designed, no such parts exist in the BMW line up to protect the curved sections on the door sills, kinda aesthetic too I hope, can be found on that famous auction site of course..

I don't really like it. Some small modifications such as raised lettering and making the sills a tad longer like BMW OEM would drastically improve it.

Thanks Perry and yes Art, sure they would really be the part if I could have done those you've mentioned but instead I added "BMW Individual" wording. I hope you find them a little better now, just taken photos on an M package F15, thank you for motivating me to get these parts going..

In terms of door sill protection, even a clear vinyl tape will do most of the job but when there is something solid like these in there, I feel our passengers will take some care when getting in and out and so is that curved design. And I focussed on to inscribe the X5 logo as precise as possible, to reach that oem feeling to some extent. Luckily they fit to the new X5 (F15) too as below..
