Up/down buttons on steering wheel

When I have the radio on, these buttons (in my e70) cause the radio to search up or down on the frequency scale. My e53 changes between presets when I press up or down on the steering wheel.

How do I change this in the e70? Or is this not possible without coding software?

Change the IDrive view to your presets, then it will go up and down the presets. The arrows control what ever is shown on the iDrive screen for the most part.
